Kohei Kimura was born in Japan in 1985.
He studied Media Art at Tama Art University from 2005 to 2009 and then went on to graduate school at the same university, completing his studies in 2011. After graduating, he worked as an engineer at the Japanese artist unit "Meywa Denki" for five years, after which he moved to Germany. He started studying at the UdK in 2017 and is currently working on a variety of projects using mechatronics technology.
