MIZUTAMARI

2022
2000×2000×2030
Acrylic, electronic circuit, aluminium, LED, wood

Water contains various functions, effects and expressions, which can be freely manipulated and incorporated into an infinite number of sculptural elements. Through "MIZUTAMARI"in which water, light and sound coexist, the viewer can experience a sense of sudden change in known reality, a sense of possibility, scale, illusion, a sense of time and discomfort, and encounter perceptual sensations that could not be perceived in an expanded perception. The 'eternity', 'uniqueness' and 'contingency' inherent in 'water' create the sensations and possibilities of a sudden change in known reality, and through this, encourage a dialogue with 'humanity'.
